Abony The key is at Ms. Pick Pál, Mikes Kelemen street 1. Acsa In 1944 two families lived here, they were deportated. Cemetery Albertirsa (Alberti) Operates in Alberti. The ancient synagogue used to be a mill, currently its state is deplorable. Keys of the cemetery: Kossuth street 9. István Kárpáti, Tiborné Kovács Albertirsa (Irsa) Located in Irsa next to the evangelical cemetery. Alsónémedi Some gravestones can be found inside the cemetery. Of the ancient fence only the entrance column is left. The graveyard is on the corner of Alsóerdő row and Rákóczi street. Aszód The cemetery was renovated in 1996 with the help of the Association for Town Embellishment. Keys are with Tamás Asztalos, Rákóczi street 2/a. Can be visited on the hill above town. There used to be a synagogue but it was knocked down. Bag István Lados is the cemetery''s caretaker. Bénye cemetery Biatorbágy In 1870, 19 Jews lived in Torbágy, both villages had a synagogue and cemetery, but they are said to have vanished. Bicske Cemetery keys are with Jenő Katona, Tompa street 10, which is also the location of the cemetery. The cemetery was restored in the summer of 2004 by the HFPJC Foundation. Budafok (Bp. XI.) The cemetery can be found within the Catholic graveyard, Temető street 8. Graves date back to the early 1900s, it was in use until the war. One gravestone had a small marble plate carrying the inscription 1991. Budakalász The ancient Jewish cemetery is located at the end of Kőbányai Road. On June 13, 2004, the cemetery can hardly be detected as it is overgrown by acacia. It has not been used since the war. Old inhabitants of Budakalázs still remember its location, and claim having seen gravestones there long ago. 150 m after the car repair workshop at the end of Kőbányai Road, there is a path on the left going up on the hill towards the general cemetery. Right there next to the path going upwards, on the right side inside the acacia woods there probably lies the cemetery. The cemetery was cleared out in 2005, and some gravestones lying on the floor can be found in it. Budakeszi The ancient Jewish cemetery is located at today''s edge of town behind the row of houses called Barackos. Within Budakeszi, turn right at the sign leading towards Páty, and then it can be found next to the road on the right side after the Barackos junction. It is a small cemetery with only a couple of graves among the trees. Bugyi The nicely kept cemetery is located on a small square at the edge of the village on the corner of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street. Not fenced, with about 100 graves and grave remnants. Cegléd The prayer house is located in Damjanich street 1. The community center is on Sajtó street 22 (20). The ancient synagogue can be found on Pesti Road, currently used as sports facility. The cemetery is on highway 21, after the Catholic graveyard. Cinkota (Bp., XVI.) The graveyard is on Szabadföldi Road, right next to the Budapest sign, in the corner of the local common cemetery. The small Jewish cemetery is fenced and locked. The keys are with the local council who also take care of mowing the weeds twice a year, spring and autumn. The last burial, that of Simon Mezei, took place in 1948. Csepel (Bp. XXI.) The well-kept and still used cemetery can be found at Nefelejcs street 11. The ancient mortuary still exists and is also in use. Keys are available at Nefelecs street 16. Csobánka cemetery Csömör The local council owns the cemetery, grass is mown once a year. The cemetery was in use until 1953. There are 30 graves in the small cemetery. Csővár cemetery Dabas (Alsó) Éva Tusák lives there, born in Jászfényszaru. Cemetery in Balla Pál street. Dabas (Felső) Cemetery, topographical No: 81 and 4500. Dány cemetery Domony cemetery Dömsöd In 1877, 4 % of the inhabitants were Jewish, in 1941 there were a total of 82. Cemetery.    Next 25 »
